The Happiness indicator index of a country depends primarily on the financial situation of people indicator, economic indicators, social security and health status of citizens in that country. Like other indicators we can say are air purity, soil purity, quality education system, low crime rate, low number of cases of theft, etc.s factors are taken as a basis. "The Happiest Countries in the World" schedule is updated annually, but there are 1 rules that don't change. Most of the countries in the "Top 10" are also European countries this year also. Of the "Top 10" countries in 2024, just Israel and Australia are not European country. 

1. Finland

Finland ranks as the world's happiest country based on the 2024 report, with a score of 7.741 out of a total possible score of 10. Finland is also known around the world for its land of lakes, forests and plains. Finland's nature is very rich and they can protect their nature very well. They were able to do it as a result with the joint activity of the government and the country's citizens.

Having scored 7.583 points, Denmark is ranked 2nd in the "Happiest Countries" ranking. The country especially scored the highest in happiness among older adults (60+). The Danish goverment, like Finland government, considers the nature of its country and the care of its citizens to be a top priority. It is these 2 main reasons that distinguish both countries from other countries. 

3. Iceland

This country ranks as 2024's third-happiest country in the entire world, with a total score of 7.525. Iceland distinguished by its cold climate, has surpassed most of the world's countries with the social support it provides to its citizens. 

                                                        4. Sweden

Sweden ranks as the world's fourth happiest country, with a score of 7.344 out of score of 10. Sweden is mainly a country where the older generation is happy. The last information I mentioned is the same in Iceland, Denmark and Finland. 

5. Israel

Fifth in the ranks of the happiest countries with a score of 7.341. Although Israel is a small and newly formed country, it is developing at an incredible speed in all areas. In the world ranking, Israel is the second happiest country for young people. 1st place is taken by Lithuania.
